Day 19

Slob day at home.

I would think that going on a cruise for 1 week was relaxing and I would get home ready to pop back to work. Wrong!

I was exhausted! And so were the kids. First of all, we forgot to get frozen fruit for smoothies so we headed straight out to Costco as soon as we all woke up. We bought bags of frozen mango, pineapple, and cherries.

We made our first smoothie in over a week. Oh it was so delicious and it felt great to drink it. I had 48oz of smoothie, which was made of spinach, mango, banana, and pineapple.

After the smoothie was done, I looked at the tofu and couldn’t stop thinking about making tofu ice cream with the cherries. So I blended up half a block of tofu with some frozen cherries and ate the whole thing. Holy cow does that make you full. This was much better than the last one I made, because the tofu was firm.


The rest of the day was spent lying on the couch watching movies. We were all like slugs. I got up to eat some random fruit and a few more pretzel covered peanut butter.

Dinner was steamed kale and mushrooms, covered with a little bit of Bragg’s aminos and nutritional yeast. Mmmm, that still doesn’t get old.

Finally, I had a whole block of tofu with cherries and went to bed.
